Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sid James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Darius Kasparaitis!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasparaitis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as James throws out the jab.
Kasparaitis works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Kasparaitis connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
James throws a head kick but Kasparaitis moves out of range.
Both fighters circling a little - Kasparaitis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from James misses the target.
James throws a lazy head kick
and Kasparaitis counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kasparaitis throws a head kick that half lands.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A big left from James misses.
A good leg kick by Kasparaitis.
Sid James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James swings widly with a right hand
and Kasparaitis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.


James is rocked!
Kasparaitis cracks a nice hook into James's ribs.
Oh James is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kasparaitis as he avoids it easily.
James seems to have got his legs back now.
That kick from Kasparaitis tenderised James's leg. James is trying to keep his angry face on.
James walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
James takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
James is breathing heavily.
Kasparaitis throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Kasparaitis drops James with a beautiful combination! James stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kasparaitis is looking for the KO!
Kasparaitis blocks a head kick by James.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kasparaitis. That's going to slow James down.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kasparaitis throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kasparaitis moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Kasparaitis sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks James to the ground! Kasparaitis dives into full mount looking to finish!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Kasparaitis throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Kasparaitis looking to finish with strikes here!
Kasparaitis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Let's hope that Kasparaitis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Darius Kasparaitis.
Kasparaitis lunges at James with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by James's hand.
Both fighters circling a little - Kasparaitis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Kasparaitis lands with an uppercut that bounces James off the cage and back into range.
James misses with a right hand

and Kasparaitis counters with a crisp right hand that drops James! Kasparaitis lets James back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A solid leg kick lands there for Kasparaitis.
Darius Kasparaitis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kasparaitis connects with the punch.
Kasparaitis throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends James stumbling backwards into the cage! James bounces back off the cage towards Kasparaitis, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Kasparaitis lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Kasparaitis celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Darius Kasparaitis!
During a confident post fight interview, Darius Kasparaitis thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
