And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Please!
Zangief's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Zangief duly obliges.
Please dodges the punch combination from Zangief.
Please chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zangief can pounce on him.
Please misses with a takedown attempt - Zangief sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Please tries for a takedown but Zangief sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Zangief fakes the leg kick and cracks Please in the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zangief avoids the head kick by Please.
Zangief lands a head kick!
Please is rocked!

Oh Please is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Please doesn't succeed with the takedown
and as Please loses concentration momentarily, Zangief counters with a picture perfect head kick! Please goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
