Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bram bd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Benjamin Franklin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bram bd!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from bd. That one must have hurt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from bd is defended easily by Franklin.
bd shoots in and drives through. Franklin sprawls well.
Franklin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
bd fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Franklin, pushing him back against the cage.
bd tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Franklin just stands there and leans against the cage.
Benjamin Franklin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bram bd.
bd landing knees to the head.
Franklin is trying to trip bd. He has hold of a leg but bd is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Franklin persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
bd has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Franklin lands a couple of elbows.
Franklin throws an elbow that misses. bd uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Franklin's guard. Nice move by bd!
That's one minute gone in the round.

bd trying to stand up but can't free himself from Franklin's guard.
Franklin trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
bd stopping the sweep attempt from Franklin.
Franklin lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for bd!
bd is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Franklin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Franklin avoids the attempt from bd to control.
Franklin punishing his opponent with strikes.
Franklin postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. bd looks a forlorn figure.

Franklin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Franklin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

bd tries to lock up and control but Franklin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Franklin unloads with some vicious shots from mount and bd wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Franklin celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
