Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steel comes into the arena with Ain't No Sunshine blaring out of the sound system. Nick Diaz looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steel scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Nick Diaz has been cut.
Diaz looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Diaz slips under a jab from Steel.
Steel swinging wildly here.
Steel gets a clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Steel.
Steel fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Diaz jumps guard but Steel stands there with Diaz around his waist. Diaz gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Steel breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Steel keeps the fight on the outside.
Steel lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Diaz goes down and covers up as Steel starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alex Steel!
