Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sam Neckpunch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Ebert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ebert comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Let the Bodies Hit the Floor - Drowning Pool kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Sam Neckpunch! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Russel Ebert! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ebert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Neckpunch but Neckpunch pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ebert throws a shot from downtown. Neckpunch moves away and avoids it. Ebert misses with a two punch combination.
Neckpunch takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Ebert lunges at Neckpunch with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Neckpunch's hand. Neckpunch swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ebert defending well as Neckpunch loads up on a big left hand. Neckpunch scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Ebert keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Neckpunch lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Neckpunch throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ebert connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Ebert thows a left - swing and a miss! Neckpunch throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Neckpunch throws a solid leg kick but Ebert takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Neckpunch. Neckpunch lands with a nice body punch. Ebert looks gassed! Neckpunch darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sam Neckpunch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ebert rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Neckpunch moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Neckpunch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ebert manages to avoid it. Ebert is holding his hands too far apart here. Neckpunch throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Ebert is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sam Neckpunch! Sam Neckpunch retains his middleweight title!
