The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Hogan shoots in looking for a takedown. Reed tries to sprawl out of it but Hogan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reed manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hogan is looking to clinch.

Reed tries to clinch up but Hogan circles away and keeps his distance.

Hogan slips under a jab from Reed.
No joy there for Reed, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reed scores with a hook to the body. Hogan takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Hogan seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Reed shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hogan is backing up but Reed catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hogan covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Reed Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
