The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bastiani tests Santos's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Santos gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Santos tries to clinch there but Bastiani circles away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Santos. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bastiani tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bastiani to the ground. Bastiani escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Santos switches off momentarily and Bastiani cracks him with a monster right hand! Santos topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Bastiani dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Bastiani!

After winning the bout, Albredo Bastiani thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
