Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Blok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blok comes into the arena with Bangarang blaring out of the sound system. Michael Blok has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Jones pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Blok is looking for a takedown. Blok tries to pull guard but Jones won't allow it.
Jones pulls Blok into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Blok won't allow Jones to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wriggles free and stands up. Jones clinches with his opponent.
Blok manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Jones won't allow Blok to sweep him here. Jones decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blok pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jones wants to get back to his feet but Blok is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blok trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jones working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Blok. Blok decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Blok is trying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Blok wants to stand up but Jones manages to regain full guard. Blok throwing strikes but missing. Blok trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Blok postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Blok, into his guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Blok is working an open guard so Jones takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Jones gets underhooks to prevent Blok's takedown attempt.
Jones lands an elbow just above Blok 's eye. Jones comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Blok doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Blok takes an elbow to the temple. Jones lands an elbow that stopped Blok in his tracks for a moment. Jones landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jones pulls guard successfully.
Blok is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him. Jones pushes Blok off and scrambles back to his feet.
Jones closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Jones lands in his opponent's guard. Jones tries to stand but Blok is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jon Jones. Blok tries to clinch but fails miserably and Jones counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Blok misses the shot to the body. Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blok's waist but Blok gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side. Blok feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Blok chips away with some ground and pound. Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jones manages to escape and get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones gets a takedown into half guard. Jones tries to stand but can't do so whilst Blok controls his leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Michael Blok's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Blok avoids a wild elbow strike from Jones. Jones is trying to maintain a safe position but Blok gets an underhook and turns Jones into the cage. Jones throws an elbow that misses.
Blok decides to pull guard. Blok wants to control the position but Jones says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Jones seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Blok tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg. Jon Jones has got the better of the ground game so far. Blok wants to control but Jones is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like Jones is going to stand back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Michael Blok. Blok misses with a series of wild punches.
Michael Blok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blok will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michael Blok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Blok swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to clinch up but Blok keeps it at a distance. Jones drives through with a takedown into Blok's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Blok has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up. Jones decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Blok, up you get! Blok throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blok off to one side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones fails with the takedown. Blok gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Blok thinking. Jon Jones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Blok gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jones to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Blok is proving hard to escape from.
And that's the end of the fight! Jon Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
