Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Cogdill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grant Crouch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eric Cogdill! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Grant Crouch! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jonathan Paton and Russell Pearce.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cogdill swats away the attempt to clinch by Crouch. A big right from Crouch misses. Cogdill takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cogdill scores with a takedown into Crouch's guard. Cogdill postures up in Crouch's guard and throws a big left but Crouch blocks it. Crouch doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Cogdill scoring with punches to the head and body. Cogdill is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Cogdill won't allow Crouch to get back to his feet. Cogdill controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Cogdill prevents Crouch from getting back to his feet. Cogdill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. This has been an exciting period of action! Crouch wants to sweep here but Cogdill controlling him for the moment. Cogdill scoring with punches to the head and body. Cogdill is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cogdill slips nicely into half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round.
Crouch is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cogdill pulls his head out easily. Cogdill is taking a breather. Crouch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Crouch is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cogdill scores with a couple of nice shots. Cogdill will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Cogdill working the head and body with strikes. Crouch won't allow Cogdill to pass to mount. Ground and pound from Cogdill. Cogdill controlling the action here. Crouch tries to kick Cogdill off but Cogdill keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Cogdill is looking for a kimura but Crouch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cogdill to get the leverage. Cogdill working the head and body with strikes. Cogdill blocks the strikes from Crouch.
Crouch pushes Cogdill off looking to stand but Cogdill dives back in and keeps control.
Crouch is on the bottom, trying to hold on to half guard. He's throwing a few small shots here, to keep his opponent honest. Crouch regains full guard. Nicely done.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Crouch controls Cogdill momentarily but Cogdill frees himself. Cogdill makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cogdill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cogdill lands a couple of elbows. Cogdill stopping the sweep attempt from Crouch. Cogdill working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Crouch's head. Cogdill sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Crouch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cogdill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cogdill advances position into side control! Cogdill advances nicely into full mount. A nice elbow there by Cogdill. Cogdill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Crouch can't escape the position.

Crouch is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Cogdill is in the full mount, landing strikes. Cogdill raining down shots from the mount! Cogdill controlling the position easily from mount. Crouch is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Cogdill postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crouch looks a forlorn figure.
Cogdill looking for a guillotine from mount but Crouch is having none of it. BOOM! Cogdill connects with a massive shot to the dome!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Cogdill landing punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Crouch tries to lock up and control but Cogdill gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Crouch is looking to get to half guard. Crouch is bucking up trying to escape but Cogdill cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Cogdill controlling from mount. Crouch taking shots to the head. Cogdill lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Crouch hang on? Crouch regains half guard. Crouch flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Cogdill controlling the action here. Cogdill drops an elbow to the side of Crouch's head. Cogdill is controlling the pace.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Eric Cogdill dominated that round. That's time! Cogdill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Crouch lands a glancing blow to the side of Cogdill's head. Crouch lands with a thumping leg kick.
Crouch moves out of range of the body kick. Crouch smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Cogdill is rocked! Cogdill walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Crouch swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
