Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Wagner might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Broken Out in Love by Mark Crozer. Silva has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner takes a swing at Silva's ribcage but misses.
Wagner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wagner showed some decent athleticism there.
Wagner tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Silva.
Wagner is trying to control. Silva wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Wagner wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy.
Wayne Wagner has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Wagner shoots in for a takedown and gets it, with a heavy slam. That will score well with the judges.

Wagner wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Silva, who protects the arm well.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Wagner! Silva is hurt baaadly! Wagner is firing away with more strikes - Silva is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
