Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Salath Sar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kj Barakus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salath Sar could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kj Barakus's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Salath Sar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kj Barakus! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sar throws a jab when Barakus was well out of range. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sar. Salath Sar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Barakus's head.
It looks like Kj Barakus has been cut. Sar looks for a takedown but Barakus sprawls well. Barakus slips a jab from Sar. Sar moves into range and connects with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sar looks to throw the jab but Barakus is out of range. Sar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A slow jab from Sar misses its intended target. Barakus fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sar getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Sar shoots for a double leg takedown but Barakus sprawls well. He's pushed Sar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Salath Sar. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Sar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Sar with that takedown attempt. Barakus manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sar on his heels. He'll look to pass Sar's guard now, I'm sure. Sar wants to stand and escape but Barakus is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sar has momentary wrist control but Barakus slips an elbow through the middle. Barakus trying to control the position from guard on top but Sar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sar wants to stand but Barakus is controlling the position. Barakus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sar is keeping the position for now. Barakus drops back looking for a leg! Sar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sar manages to kick Barakus off! Barakus jumps back into Sar's guard. Sar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barakus defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barakus won't allow Sar to get back to his feet. Barakus drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Barakus seems to have locked his on tight now - Sar screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Barakus, as he picks up the win!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kneebar). Kj Barakus! A very excited looking Kj Barakus made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
