Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Atkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loholt Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atkinson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Set to Fail. Pendragon has chosen Game of Thrones as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rowan Atkinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Loholt Pendragon! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pendragon fails with a takedown attempt. Pendragon gets caught flat footed, as Atkinson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Pendragon looking to control.
Atkinson sitting in guard, not really doing much. Pendragon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Atkinson. Pendragon is trying to control the position but Atkinson postures up. Pendragon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Atkinson stopping the sweep attempt from Pendragon. Atkinson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pendragon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Atkinson is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Pendragon punching from mount but Atkinson doing a good job of avoiding damage. Pendragon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Pendragon avoids the attempt from Atkinson to control. Atkinson avoids a series of strikes thrown by Pendragon.
Pendragon fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Atkinson is trying desperately to improve position. Pendragon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pendragon throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Pendragon looking to control but Atkinson is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pendragon misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Pendragon thowing shots but they're missing. Pendragon lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pendragon pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Atkinson is trying desperately to improve position. Atkinson manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. Pendragon sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Atkinson defending well though. Atkinson avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Pendragon. Atkinson is staying active underneath Pendragon, who seems content to just control the action from this position. That's four minutes gone in the round. Pendragon postures up in Atkinson's guard and throws a big left but Atkinson blocks it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Atkinson is pulling down on Pendragon's head to control his posture. Atkinson is looking to sweep but instead, Pendragon has passed into half guard.
Atkinson actively working from the bottom here. Pendragon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Atkinson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Atkinson. Pendragon is in close to Atkinson's body, working some short punches and elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Loholt Pendragon dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Atkinson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Atkinson lands in his opponent's guard. Pendragon keeping full guard, as Atkinson tries to pass. Pendragon seems keen to control Atkinson's posture. Pendragon looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Atkinson scoring with punches and elbows. Atkinson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pendragon is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Pendragon tries to improve position but can't. Atkinson lands a nice forearm strike. Atkinson is chipping away with strikes.
Pendragon tries to get back to half guard but can't. Atkinson trying to control the action but Pendragon is working from the bottom. Atkinson connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Pendragon some visible discomfort.

Pendragon on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Atkinson fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Atkinson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Pendragon can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Pendragon is looking for a sweep. Atkinson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pendragon is trying to control but can't.
Atkinson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Pendragon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Atkinson thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Atkinson is pressing down on Pendragon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pendragon is holding on for now. Atkinson is taking a breather. Pendragon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Pendragon trying to control but Atkinson postures up.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Pendragon is staying active underneath Atkinson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Pendragon shoots in but no luck this time. Rowan Atkinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Loholt Pendragon. Atkinson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Pendragon! Pendragon manages to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Pendragon wants to control but Atkinson is keeping busy and won't allow it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Atkinson is trying to work for a kimura but Pendragon is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Rowan Atkinson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Atkinson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
