Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alex Braun!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Renato Laranja!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laranja fails with an attempt to clinch.
Laranja feints and as Braun raises his hands in defense, Laranja changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Laranja drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Braun dives on top into guard.
Braun engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Laranja had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Braun defends it easily.
Braun stays in close to Laranja's body and controls the position.
Laranja throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Braun wants to stand but Laranja is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Braun has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Laranja to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Braun is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Laranja pulls down on the head and he's put Braun to sleep! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Renato Laranja thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
