Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dragon Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsuro Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dragon Slayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Katsuro Sato! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Slayer lands a right hook to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Slayer.
Sato lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sato lands a glancing blow to the side of Slayer's head. Sato throws out a powerful jab. Sato gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Sato has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Katsuro Sato has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sato needs to keep his hands up - Slayer had a free shot at his head there. Slayer swings for the body but Sato moves out of range.
Slayer scores with a jab. Sato fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Slayer throws a lazy right hand but Sato sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Slayer stuffs the takedown attempt from Sato. Sato gets slowly back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sato. Dragon Slayer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Katsuro Sato. Sato lands with a thumping leg kick.
Sato on the wrong end of a nice hook. Slayer fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Slayer swinging wildly here.
Sato throws a half hearted mid kick. Slayer lands a left and a right that send Sato crashing to the mat, dazed. Slayer thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
That has opened up Katsuro Sato's cut even more. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slayer misses with a body kick. Slayer stuns Sato with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Sato tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Slayer is able to avoid easily. Slayer tries to work over Sato's front leg with a kick but Sato checks it. Dragon Slayer is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Slayer is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sato. Sato paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sato is defended easily by Slayer. A head kick misses from Sato. Sato feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Slayer's calf. Slayer blocks a low kick nicely. Slayer pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sato is out of range and Slayer settles back down. Slayer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sato backs up against the cage.

The cut above Katsuro Sato's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Slayer scores with a jab to the body. Slayer takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Slayer misses with a low kick as Sato jumps back. Nice straight punches there by Slayer. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Slayer. Sato fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Sato throws a push kick but Slayer slaps the foot to one side. Sato connects with an inside leg kick. Slayer tests Sato's chin there with a solid looking shot. That kick from Sato tenderised Slayer's leg. Slayer is trying to keep his angry face on. Sato staying out of range there. Sato shoots for a double leg takedown but Slayer sprawls well. He's pushed Sato's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dragon Slayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sato takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sato shoots in looking for a takedown but Slayer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sato's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Slayer lands a big head kick that sends Sato tumbling to the mat! Slayer takes a step backwards and waves Sato back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sato is rocked!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Katsuro Sato's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dragon Slayer! During a confident post fight interview, Dragon Slayer thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
