Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kim Boshesh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimura comes to the cage accompanied by can't be touched. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Kimura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kim Boshesh! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Boshesh to score an easy takedown into full guard. Kimura escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Boshesh gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kimura throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Boshesh looking to pass the guard. Boshesh landing some decent shots from guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Boshesh scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Boshesh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boshesh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Boshesh chips away with some ground and pound. This has been an exciting period of action! Boshesh postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kimura is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boshesh defends well. Boshesh content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boshesh is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boshesh sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Kimura's guard. Kimura looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Boshesh working over Kimura with some ground and pound. Kimura looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Boshesh is nestled in close to Kimura, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Boshesh seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Nice strikes from Boshesh there. Kimura looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kimura on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ground and pound from Boshesh. That's four minutes gone in the round. Kimura taking a bit of punishment here - Boshesh scoring with strikes. Kimura tries to buck Boshesh off but Boshesh is having none of it. Kimura is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Kimura takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Boshesh in side control lands a decent elbow. Kimura tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Boshesh wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

I think Boshesh should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Kimura has tightened it up now! Boshesh should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Joe Kimura! A relieved looking Joe Kimura thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
