And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Jones!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Barnes scores with a nice head shot.
Barnes throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No luck for Jones with that takedown attempt.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jones checks a leg kick.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Barnes throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Barnes stuffs the takedown.
Jimmy Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Jones.

Barnes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jones doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Barnes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones is trying to stand up here but Barnes is controlling him well.
Barnes wants to free his trapped foot but Jones is holding on for dear life with his legs.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Barnes pushes him off.

Jones will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
