Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Warton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chael Connell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warton comes into the arena with Tupac Shakur - Ambitionz az a Ridah blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jimmy Warton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chael Connell! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Warton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Connell on the side of the head.
It looks like Chael Connell has been cut. Warton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Warton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Connell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Warton stays in close to Connell's body and controls the position. Warton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Connell looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Connell looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Connell! Warton manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Warton is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Connell is just riding it out for now. Warton eventually gives up the hold. Warton is working for a kimura but Connell is defending it quite comfortably.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warton uses his free foot to push down on Connell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Connell. Warton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Connell can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Warton has hold of Connell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Connell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Warton working for a submission but Connell is keeping him at bay. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Warton moves to take his opponent's back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Warton has got one arm under Connell's chin. This could be trouble... Connell trying to control the other hand but Warton gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Connell has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jimmy Warton!
