Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Lachida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Killer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Lachida!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Killer misses.
Lachida scores with a leg kick.
Killer lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Lachida throws a combination. Killer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Killer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Killer shoots in looking for a takedown. Lachida tries to sprawl out of it but Killer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lachida manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Killer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lachida pinned against the cage. Lachida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Lachida shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lachida showed some decent athleticism there.
Killer tries to get to full guard but Lachida has control of the leg.

Killer has hold of Lachida's hands but Lachida slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Lachida seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lachida seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Killer does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lachida looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Killer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lachida wants to control but Killer is keeping him busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lachida is trying to control the action in half guard but Killer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lachida wants to pass the guard but Killer is defending well.
Killer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lachida on the ground.
Lachida tries to stand but can't do so whilst Killer controls his leg.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

John Killer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Killer throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
The fight stays on the outside here - Killer looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that John Killer will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mike Lachida comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Killer has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
