Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Barry Beaner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azarov Danil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danil is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Бой с тенью. Azarov Danil has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Azarov Danil!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danil fails in his attempt to clinch.
Danil tries to clinch up but Beaner circles away and keeps his distance.

Beaner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Danil to the mat! Danil manages to get full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Danil throws a chopping leg kick but Beaner manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Danil rushes Beaner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Danil jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Beaner walks away with a smile on his face. Danil gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Beaner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Danil to the mat! Danil manages to get full guard.

Beaner pulls Danil in close to his closed guard and prevents Danil from doing any damage or advancing position.

Danil is looking to work some ground and pound but Beaner has wrist control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Barry Beaner.

and Beaner counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Danil throws a low kick, looking for Beaner's leg but Beaner calmly moves out of range.

Beaner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Danil in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
