Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ademar Mota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Hoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoe has chosen Ivanhoe theme as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ademar Mota! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Hoe! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mota throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hoe's head. Hoe thuds his shin into the meat of Mota's side. A head kick misses from Mota. Hoe's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mota connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hoe scrambles back to his feet. Hoe throws a lazy head kick and Mota counters with a leg kick. Mota stuffs the takedown attempt from Hoe. Hoe gets slowly back to his feet. Hoe connects with an inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hoe avoids the head kick by Mota.
Mota throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hoe. Hoe lands with a thumping leg kick.
Mota misses with a body kick. Hoe digs a good hook to Mota's body.
Hoe punishes Mota's body with a nice straight punch. Hoe fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mota is out of range. Ademar Mota seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hoe dodges the punch combination from Mota.
Mota throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoe throws a body kick, spinning off balance enabling Mota to counter with a crisp jab. Hoe throws a lazy body kick and Mota counters with a head kick that drops Hoe to the mat! Hoe scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A jab from Mota misses. Mota looks to land a body kick but Hoe moved away. Mota stuffs the takedown attempt from Hoe. Hoe gets slowly back to his feet. Hoe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mota.
A head kick misses from Mota. Mota cracks Hoe with a right hand to the side of the head. Hoe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mota did well to prevent Hoe getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoe controlling the action here. Hoe trying to mount his opponent but Mota defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoe lands with a punch from half guard. Hoe trying to control from half guard but Mota is working away. Hoe not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hoe is looking to take a break and control but Mota is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hoe might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mota haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Mota is doing well to control the position and prevent Hoe from advancing to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mota is staying active underneath Hoe, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ivan Hoe wasn't active enough on the ground. Decent striking displayed by Mota there. Mota dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hoe avoids the head kick by Mota.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Hoe. Mota throws a sloppy head kick and Hoe holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hoe takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Mota is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hoe is defending well for now. Mota wants to get back to striking at distance but Hoe won't allow it.
Hoe breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mota tries a head kick but it misses.
Mota throws a head kick that misses. Hoe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mota but Mota pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ademar Mota has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Hoe.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hoe shoots in looking for a takedown. Mota tries to sprawl out of it but Hoe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mota manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hoe scoring well with a low kick there.

Mota tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hoe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ademar Mota is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mota staying out of range there. Hoe bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Hoe blocks a head kick by Mota.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ademar Mota dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Hoe shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hoe showed some decent athleticism there. Hoe lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Mota is defending against the submission attempts here by Hoe.
Mota is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoe looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Mota keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Hoe thows a huge punch but Mota dodges it nicely.
Hoe is looking to take a break and control but Mota is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hoe sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mota defending well though. Hoe works his way into side control. Hoe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mota sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Hoe lands a few punches from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoe tries to advance to mount but can't. Hoe is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Mota's face as Hoe controls the position. Hoe trying to control the action but Mota is working from the bottom. Mota takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Ivan Hoe has got the better of the ground game so far. This has been an exciting period of action! Hoe is looking to take a break and control but Mota is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mota knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hoe on the ground. Hoe is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Mota knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoe tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hoe has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hoe tries for a kimura but Mota is defending well. Mota holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoe creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mota sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Mota is pushing Hoe's head away, looking to escape. Hoe manages to hold on to the position though. Hoe working the ground and pound. Hoe has hold of Mota's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Mota seems comfortable defending it but Hoe has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Mota is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Mota is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hoe couldn't care less - he's delighted!
