The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Najman darts in trying to clinch
and Ninguem holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Ninguem is pressed up against the cage. Najman has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ninguem down to the mat. Ninguem avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Ninguem counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Ninguem.
Ninguem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Ninguem counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ninguem.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Najman is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ninguem is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ninguem slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ninguem chips away with some ground and pound.
Ninguem sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Najman's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ninguem perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ninguem seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Najman for as long as he can get away with.
Ninguem is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ninguem really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ninguem clinches with his opponent.
Ninguem has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Najman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Najman is really stuck here.
Ninguem has managed to slip his arm under Najman's chin. This could be all over... yep, Najman is tapping out! Submission win for Ninguem.

A less than humble Joao Ninguem misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
