Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Phil Payne!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devil misses with an uppercut. Payne saw that one coming.
Payne's jab looks to have found its range, popping Devil under the eye.
Payne lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Payne scores with a jab to the body.
Devil misses with a double jab
and Payne counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Payne moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Payne checks a leg kick.
Payne thuds a left hand into Devil's body.
Payne bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Payne connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Devil shoots in for a double leg but Payne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Devil throws a hook to the side of Payne's head but Payne sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Payne ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Devil moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Phil Payne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Payne defending well as Devil loads up on a big left hand.
Payne scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Devil on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Payne rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Devil moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Devil gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Payne gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
