Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Erik Lensherr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Erik Lensherr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Todd!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lensherr checks a low kick from Todd.
Todd stuffs the takedown.
Todd looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lensherr fails with an attempt to clinch.
Erik Lensherr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lensherr fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lensherr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Todd swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lensherr is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Todd has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lensherr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lensherr breaks from the clinch.
Todd fails to land with a series of punches.
Todd keeps the fight on the outside.

Todd lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Todd.

It looks like Erik Lensherr has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Todd tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Lensherr is looking to clinch but Todd is avoiding it.
Lensherr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Todd breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Todd feints a jab promting Lensherr to slip. Todd then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lensherr slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Todd misses with a series of wild punches.
Todd motions for Lensherr to come forward. Todd throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Todd misses with the combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Todd tries to bum rush Lensherr with a series of wild strikes but Lensherr uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
No luck for Todd with that takedown attempt.

Lensherr gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lensherr with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Lensherr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lensherr fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Todd counters with a single leg into guard. Lensherr didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Lensherr is wriggling around but Todd manages to pass to half guard.
Lensherr on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Lensherr looks like he's trying to stand up.
Todd passes the guard and advances to mount!

Lensherr is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Todd has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Lensherr is forced to tap!

Noah Todd was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
