Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Nap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newton is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by wild boy. Max Newton told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Nap! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Newton! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nap swings for the body but Newton moves out of range.
Newton fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Newton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nap.
Nap misses with a body shot.
Newton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nap throws out the jab. Nap throws a combination. Newton tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Max Newton has been cut. Nap throws a right hand that Newton ducks under and follows up with a left that Newton also avoids with ease. Good standup being displayed there by Nap as he connects with a hook. Nap throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nap just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Nap. Those never looked like landing. Newton looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Newton slips a jab and a cross from Nap.
Antonio Nap seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A combination from Nap does no damage. Nap throws a lazy right hand but Newton sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nap misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nap fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Newton manages to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nap misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nap fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. A combination from Nap does no damage. Nap throws a series of punches but Newton avoids them all with ease. Nap is breathing heavily. Nap cracks a nice hook into Newton's ribs. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Newton is defended easily by Nap. Nap gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Newton drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Newton seems to have locked his on tight now - Nap screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Newton, as he picks up the win!
