Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gary Barlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tarik Gibson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barlow kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Gary Barlow Song. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tarik Gibson!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Barlow has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gibson lands a lovely overhand right.
Barlow shoots in looking for a takedown. Gibson tries to sprawl out of it but Barlow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gibson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A good leg kick by Gibson.
Barlow shoots in for a double leg but Gibson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Barlow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Barlow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gibson tries to avoid it but Barlow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gibson to the ground. Gibson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gary Barlow. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Barlow shoots in but Gibson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Barlow shoots in for a takedown but Gibson shows good takedown defense.
Barlow fails with the takedown
and Gibson counters with a straight right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barlow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gibson defends it nicely.
Gibson leaves Barlow with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Barlow fails with the takedown
and Gibson counters with a low kick, right behind Barlow 's knee.
Barlow is breathing heavily.
Gibson sends Barlow crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gibson is motioning to the referee to let Barlow up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Barlow is rocked!
Gibson has Barlow up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Barlow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gibson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Barlow backwards.
Good body shot from Gibson.
Gibson creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Barlow's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Barlow drops to his knees and Gibson pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tarik Gibson!
