Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De La Cruz shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Heated's guard. Heated looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Heated is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. De La Cruz trying to control the position from guard on top but Heated is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. De La Cruz works over Heated with some ground and pound from guard. De La Cruz with a flurry of punches that miss. De La Cruz controls from within his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Heated looking to hit a scissor sweep but De La Cruz is one step ahead there. De La Cruz trying to stand up but can't free himself from Heated's guard. De La Cruz trying to control the position from guard on top but Heated is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jose De La Cruz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. De La Cruz misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A momentary lapse in concentration from Heated enables De La Cruz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Heated manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. De La Cruz throws a big right hand that misses. Heated looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. De La Cruz slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. De La Cruz stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Heated has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! De La Cruz manages to get his head free but now Heated has transitioned to an armbar! De La Cruz grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Heated! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
