Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Clack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Cross!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Clack!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross misses with a kick to the body.
Cross scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Clack doesn't seem bothered though.
Cross shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Clack counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Clack.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Cross looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Cross controls Clack momentarily but Clack frees himself.
Clack cracks Cross with a solid left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clack is in close to Cross's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Clack engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Let's hope that Clack has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Clack throwing strikes but missing.
Clack keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cross's head.
Cross thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Clack content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Clack controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kenny Clack.
Cross lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Cross darts in and clinches Clack up against the cage.

Clack has Cross pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Clack pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cross tumbling to the mat - Clack dives into Cross's guard.
Clack is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
It looks like Clack might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Clack's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Clack throws an elbow that misses. Cross uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Clack's guard. Nice move by Cross!
Clack is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Cross is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Clack scores with a couple of nice shots.
Clack content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Clack takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Clack is taking a breather. Cross says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Clack landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Clack frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Clack tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cross working to try and regain half guard.
Cross swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Clack controlling the pace for now.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Clack gets tackled into the cage by Cross. Cross maintains the clinch.
Clack is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cross is defending well for now.
Cross tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cross landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Cross has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Clack is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Clack changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Cross fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Clack bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Clack tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Clack is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Cross is looking for a sweep.

Cross is working to avoid the ground and pound but Clack connects with a decent elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cross is trying to control Clack's posture but Clack avoids it.
Clack in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Clack is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cross's shoulder. That is not cool.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Clack controls the position from side control.
Clack in side control lands a decent elbow.
Cross is being controlled here.
You can see the frustration on Cross's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cross is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Clack grinds an elbow into Cross's temple.
The referee asks Clack politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Clack prefers to stall for the moment though.

Kenny Clack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Cross wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Cross stops a takedown attempt from Clack.

Clack turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Check out the look on Clack's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Clack has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Clack takes a little break here. Cross wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Clack cracks Cross with a big right hand but Cross just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Cross takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Clack is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Cross will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Cross wants to control but Clack postures up.
Kenny Clack has got the better of the ground game so far.
Clack blocks the strikes from Cross.
Clack grinds an elbow into Cross's temple.
Cross takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Clack lands a nice forearm strike.
A lull in the action here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cross manages to work his way to half guard, despite Clack's best efforts.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clack works his foot free and advances to mount.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Clack takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Clack has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
The referee warns Cross that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Clack cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Cross that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Clack sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kenny Clack comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Clack winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
