Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hurai Land (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Land comes to the cage accompanied by Por Ti Volare. David is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bring The Pain. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Xavier David enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

David decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

David is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Land doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time David.

David is trying to work for a kimura but Land is defending well.
Land is trying to stand back up but David is controlling him

Land wants to get back to his feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Horrible takedown by David or perhaps it was just good defense by Land which made him look bad.

David shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
David is tying to control. Land wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

David shoots in looking for a takedown. Land tries to sprawl out of it but David keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Land manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Land just misses with a punch to the body.
Land wants to clinch up but David keeps it at a distance.

David looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

David tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Land paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Land tries to stall but David uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

David manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
David controls Land momentarily but Land frees himself.

David has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Land can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
David lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Land!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Land is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

David is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Land is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Land flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. David anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Land and secures both hooks! This could be bad! David slips an arm under Land chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. David has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. David is squeezing on Land like an anaconda would it's prey. Land fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
