Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mancow Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Jax (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jax gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Miller is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jax avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Jax looking to control but Miller passes into half guard.
Miller is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jax wants to improve his position but Miller is controlling well.
Miller passes to full mount! Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Miller working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Jax working to try and regain half guard.
Miller lands with some strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jax tries to hold on but Miller postures up. Miller controlling the pace for now. Miller is working for a guillotine from mount but Jax frees his head quite easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller dominating with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Miller tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Miller has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Miller with the ground and pound from mount. Miller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Miller shoots for a double leg takedown but Jax sprawls well. He's pushed Miller's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Miller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jax darts in and clinches Miller up against the cage. Miller takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Mancow Miller has been cut. The referee calls for Miller to work.
Miller wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Jax tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jax tries a body shot but Miller blocks it.

Miller wants to break free but Jax has control.

Miller has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jax after a bit of a struggle. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jax obliges. Miller tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jax smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mancow Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jax cracks the inside of Miller's front leg. Jax defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Miller. Jax scores with a kick to the midsection. Miller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jax throws a nice inside leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jax connects with a leg kick. Miller looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Jax fails with an attempt to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Miller bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Jax wants to control but Miller postures up. Jax tries to bench press Miller off him but Miller keeps the position. Jax is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Jax is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Jax can't do much from the bottom here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller slows the pace down. Miller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Jax wants to clinch up but Miller keeps it at a distance. Miller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jax did well to prevent Miller getting side control. Jax really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Miller is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jax doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miller. Miller stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jax pushes Miller off looking to stand but Miller dives back in and keeps control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jax is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Miller is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jax defends it well. Miller stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Xavier Jax will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Mancow Miller's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Miller throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jax tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miller is in Jax's guard. Miller won't allow Jax to sweep him here. Miller showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jax wants to sweep here but Miller controlling him for the moment. Miller slips nicely into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Miller in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Miller controlling from mount. Jax throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Miller cracks Jax with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Miller is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jax to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jax shrugs it off. Miller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jax has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Jax wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away. Miller is standing up, even though he is in mount. Jax clinches up with Miller and pushes him back against the cage. Miller looks to throw an elbow but misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jax misses with a punch to the body.
Miller is trying to pull guard but Jax turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Miller goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jax prevents it.
Jax unloads a knee to the mid-section. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Miller on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Jax goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Jax tries to land a knee to the head but Miller blocks with his arms.
Miller tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jax smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mancow Miller. That's going to take a lot out of him. Miller fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Miller shoots in looking for a takedown but Jax manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miller's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
And that's the end of the fight! Mancow Miller showed his dominance in that final round. I think Miller has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
