The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Azirueq drives through with a takedown into Kalkbrenner's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Azirueq keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kalkbrenner's head.

Kalkbrenner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Azirueq is working Kalkbrenner over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kalkbrenner has momentary wrist control but Azirueq slips an elbow through the middle.
Azirueq wants to get up but he can't break Kalkbrenner's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Kalkbrenner has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Azirueq doesn't defend quickly enough and Kalkbrenner has managed to lock this one up! Can Azirueq escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kalkbrenner on a fantastic submission victory.
