Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bad Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Send the Pain Below. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bad Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Scott! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man tries for a takedown but Scott circles away easily and Scott counters with a nice double leg into guard. Scott stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Man swivels though and keeps the full guard. Scott missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Scott wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving. Scott content to stall in guard here. Man looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Scott trying to stand up but can't free himself from Man's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Man is striking from the bottom but Scott uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Man tries to roll over but Scott keeps him under control. Man taking some punishment here, with Scott in his half guard. Man tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Scott sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Man wants to get back to full guard. Man has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Scott is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott thows a huge punch but Man dodges it nicely.
Ground and pound from Scott. Scott is keen to just control but Man is a slippery customer. Man is looking for a sweep. Scott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Man avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scott. Scott not doing much here.
Man wants to get back to his feet.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jason Scott wasn't active enough on the ground. Scott is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Man. Scott dives in and grabs Man's left leg, looking for a takedown. Man pushes down on Scott's head and hops out. Man throws a low kick but it's checked well by Scott. Man tries to sprawl but Scott drives through with a takedown into half guard. Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Scott controlling the pace. Man is looking to control Scott's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Man avoid being mounted? Scott is working for a submission of some sort.
Man slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Man throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.
Man wants to sweep here but Scott controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scott passes Man's left leg - he's now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Man misses with a body shot
and Scott decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Man's guard. Man manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Scott manages to get himself to full guard.
Man trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Scott manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Man keeping moving, preventing Scott from controlling successfully. Scott slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Scott scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving. Scott lands a couple of digs. Scott slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Man wants to get back to his feet but Scott is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jason Scott wasn't active enough on the ground. Man fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scott manages to avoid it. Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scott circles away from the clinch attempt.
Man shoots and misses and Scott cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Man fails with a takedown attempt. Man lands a two punch combo.
Man fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bad Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Man tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Scott manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Man fails with the takedown and Scott counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Scott. Scott lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Scott moves nicely into side control. Man wants to control but Scott postures up. Man takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Scott working the head and body with strikes. A lull in the action here. Scott trying to control the position but Man is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott tries for a kimura but Man is defending well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Man takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Scott landing a few strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Man tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Scott presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Scott fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Scott showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Man tries to clinch up. Man throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Scott changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Man looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Man tries to improve position but can't. Scott is looking to take a break and control but Man is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Scott working the body and head with strikes. Man is trying to control Scott's posture but Scott avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Man tries to get back to half guard but can't. Man is trying to control Scott's posture but Scott avoids it. Man is looking for a sweep. Scott lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Man is looking to regain half guard here but Scott keeps moving and retains side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Scott tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Scott connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Man some visible discomfort.
Man is looking to get back to his feet here but Scott is keeping cool and he's managed to take Man's back. Scott biding his time, controlling Man. Scott working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Jason Scott is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Scott softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Scott keeps control of the position easily here as Man tries to buck him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scott's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Scott is landing with strikes. Man can't take much more of this. Scott not allowing Man to control his hands. Man is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Scott is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Scott loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Man hold on?
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Scott comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Scott winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
