Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Adamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Trayge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Trayge! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trayge wants to clinch but Adamson slips to the side and Adamson counters with a shoot takedown. Trayge fights it but they end up in guard. Trayge is trying to control the position but Adamson postures up. Trayge pulls Adamson in to control the position. Trayge is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Trayge looking for a sweep. Not yet Trayge, not yet. Adamson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Trayge looking for a guillotine here but Adamson defends easily.
Trayge is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Adamson is aware though and is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Adamson landing with the ground and pound. Trayge manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Adamson manages to get himself to full guard.

Trayge wants to get up but he can't break Adamson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Trayge tries to close the distance and clinch up but Adamson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mike Trayge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Trayge tries to clinch up but Adamson circles away and keeps his distance. Adamson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Adamson lands in his opponent's guard. Adamson is working Trayge over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Adamson wants to control from the top but Trayge keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Adamson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Adamson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trayge on the ground. Adamson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Trayge's head. Adamson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Trayge works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Trayge throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Adamson pushes down on Trayge's leg and manages to get into half guard. Adamson throwing shots but Trayge is blocking nicely. Trayge is looking to control Adamson's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Trayge avoid being mounted? Trayge is staying active underneath Adamson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adamson stopping the sweep attempt from Trayge. Adamson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Trayge bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Adamson's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adamson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Trayge keeping moving, preventing Adamson from controlling successfully. Trayge wants to get back to his feet but Adamson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fight stays on the outside here - Trayge looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Trayge connects with a high kick. Trayge attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Adamson throws a lazy uppercut
and Trayge counters with a good low kick that Adamson was not able to check. Trayge gets caught flat footed, as Adamson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Adamson works over Trayge with some ground and pound from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Trayge was stalling too much, according to the referee. Trayge tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Adamson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Trayge throws a sloppy head kick and Adamson moves out of range easily. Trayge takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Trayge misses with a head kick.

Trayge looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Adamson landing a few strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trayge is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
It looks like Mike Trayge has been cut. Adamson wants to control but Trayge is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Adamson lands an elbow. Adamson laying and praying for a moment but Trayge takes advantage and regains half guard. Raphael Adamson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Adamson landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Adamson is nestled in close to Trayge, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Adamson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Adamson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trayge keeps working. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Adamson working over Trayge with some ground and pound. Trayge looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adamson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Trayge wants to get back to his feet. Adamson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Trayge keeps working. Adamson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Adamson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Mike Trayge has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Trayge is staying active underneath Adamson, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Raphael Adamson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Adamson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
