The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hearst fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Kim Jonghyun has been cut.

and Jonghyun counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Hearst throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A nice inside leg kick there by Jonghyun. That's going to slow Hearst down.
Hearst dives in and grabs Jonghyun's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jonghyun pushes down on Hearst's head and hops out.

Hearst throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jonghyun sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hearst shoots in for a takedown but Jonghyun shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Jonghyun counters with a three punch combo that has Hearst backing up. Hearst nods at Jonghyun to acknowledge the strikes.
Hearst is breathing heavily.
Hearst ducks right into an uppercut from Jonghyun.
Cedrick Hearst seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Jonghyun counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hearst connects with a right hand. Jonghyun shakes it off.

enabling Jonghyun to counter with a crisp jab.
Hearst rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Jonghyun counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hearst is lucky that one didn't land flush.

and Jonghyun scores with a counter punch that sends Hearst to the canvas! Jonghyun smells blood - he's punishing Hearst with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Hearst has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
