The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scruff fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Henry is defended easily by Scruff. Henry misses with a jab, cross combination.
Scruff misses with a takedown attempt - Henry sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Henry throws a sloppy head kick and Scruff moves out of range easily. Scruff tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Henry counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Henry. Henry pulls Scruff into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Henry wants to improve his position but instead Scruff has moved into half guard.
Henry is trying to stand back up but Scruff is controlling him
Scruff looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scruff wants to free his trapped foot but Henry is holding on for dear life with his legs. Henry is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Henry wants to improve his position but Scruff is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Scruff throwing shots but Henry is blocking nicely. Scruff performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Henry is looking to improve his position.
Scruff wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henry keeps working. Scruff tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Henry. Henry trying to control but Scruff postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scruff trying to control from half guard but Henry is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Beetch Scruff wasn't doing enough on the ground. Good exchange - Scruff coming out on top. Henry fails in his attempt to clinch. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Scruff misses with the combination.

Nope, Scruff circles away and we're back to standing. Beetch Scruff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Henry. Scruff misses with a jab, cross combination.
Scruff throws a right and a left that both miss. Nice takedown defense from Henry. No joy for Scruff on that attempt. Scruff shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henry sprawls well. Henry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Scruff gets slowly back to his feet. Henry throws a combination that misses and Scruff counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scruff cracks Henry with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Scruff lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Scruff fails with an attempt to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Henry misses with a double jab.
Henry looks winded! Scruff gets tackled into the cage by Henry. Henry maintains the clinch. Scruff wants to get back to striking at distance but Henry won't allow it.

Scruff doesn't manage to clinch there - Henry circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Henry is defended easily by Scruff. Scruff with a nice cross. Scruff swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Henry counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Henry trying to control the position from guard on top but Scruff is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Henry drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Scruff dives on top into guard. Henry wants to improve his position but instead Scruff has moved into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Scruff wants to stand up but Henry has a hold of him and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henry looking for submissions off his back. Scruff is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Henry is pressing down on Scruff's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Henry can do anything to dispel that myth. Henry has his foot on Scruff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Scruff works his way back into a safe position though. Scruff has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Henry is breathing heavily. Scruff wants to pass the guard but Henry is keeping the position. Scruff is looking to work some ground and pound but Henry has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Henry throws his legs up looking for a submission but Scruff uses it to pass to side control.
Scruff working away. Scruff moves into full mount! Henry is squirming around, avoiding Scruff's attempts to control the action. Scruff looking to finish with strikes here!
Scruff thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scruff misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Scruff misses with a head shot. Scruff controlling from mount. Henry is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Scruff trying to control but Henry is having none of it. Scruff thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Henry blocking the ground and pound. Scruff punching from mount but Henry doing a good job of avoiding damage. Scruff looking for a guillotine from mount but Henry is having none of it. Scruff gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Henry walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Scruff goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Scruff tries to clinch up but Henry circles away and keeps his distance. Henry takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Scruff swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beetch Scruff dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Henry shoots in looking for a takedown but Scruff manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Henry's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Scruff wants to clinch up but Henry keeps it at a distance. A cross from Scruff lands. Beetch Scruff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Henry checks a leg kick. Scruff throws a combination. Henry tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Scruff clinches up with Henry and pushes him back against the cage. Scruff tries to circle away but Henry has him pinned against the cage. Scruff goes for a takedown in the clinch but Henry prevents it.
Henry jumps guard and drags Scruff to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Scruff is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Henry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scruff preventing the sweep. Scruff stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Henry controlling Scruff's posture. Henry keeping moving, preventing Scruff from controlling successfully. Scruff has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Henry is proving hard to escape from. Scruff trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Beetch Scruff wasn't doing enough on the ground. Scruff shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Henry defends it nicely. Scruff jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Henry fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Henry wants to clinch and Scruff makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Henry takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The fight stays on the outside here - Scruff looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Scruff throws a low kick but it's checked well by Henry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Henry. Beetch Scruff overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Scruff is looking to reverse the position. Scruff can't do much from the bottom here. Scruff is trying to improve his position. Henry grinds an elbow into Scruff's temple. Henry tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Scruff sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Beetch Scruff is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Henry tries to pass to full mount but Scruff defends it. Henry prevents Scruff from improving his position. Scruff is staying active underneath Henry, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Henry tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Scruff trying to control from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Beetch Scruff. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Scruff, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
