Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guzman has closed the distance and engaged Lange in a clinch.
Guzman is working for takedown but Lange is calmly controlling the position for now.
Guzman blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Lange has had enough of the clinch but Guzman keeps him there for the moment.
Guzman lands a damaging elbow.
Guzman blocks a body shot from Lange.
Lange wants to stall.

and Lange cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Guzman shoots in and bounces Lange off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Guzman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lange tries to avoid it but Guzman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lange to the ground. Lange escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Guzman wants to slow Lange down by chopping away at his legs.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lange darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lange creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Guzman pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Guzman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lange is fending him off so far but Guzman persists. Nope, Lange circles away and we're back to standing.

Guzman fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lange, pushing him back against the cage.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Lange lands with a hook. Guzman tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Guzman is looking to stand up but Lange isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guzman isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lange stacks Guzman on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lange!

Lange is looking to take a break and control but Guzman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Guzman shoots in looking for a takedown but Lange manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Guzman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Horrible takedown by Guzman or perhaps it was just good defense by Lange which made him look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Lange will probably get the nod.
