The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Heggs checks a leg kick.
Heggs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dillon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Heggs manages to avoid it.

Dillon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Heggs has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Heggs thuds his right hand into Dillon's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Dillon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Heggs keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

and Heggs counters with a body kick that stops Dillon in his tracks momentarily.
Heggs lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dillon is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Heggs.
Heggs ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kjell Dillon will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Dillon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
