The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jackson, right into the meat.
Jackson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Jackson looks for the body kick but Johnson saw that one coming.
Johnson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Jackson.

Johnson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jackson is out of range and Johnson settles back down.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jackson smiles and moves away.

Jackson tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Johnson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Johnson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Johnson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Johnson's calf.
Jackson lands a big head kick that sends Johnson tumbling to the mat! Jackson takes a step backwards and waves Johnson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Jackson lands a beautiful left hook that drops Johnson. Johnson tries to recover but Jackson is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Johnson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
