Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Don King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Rowe!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King throws a combination. Rowe tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
King takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
King lands with a good body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rowe darts in trying to clinch
and Rowe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
King defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rowe.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rowe is defended easily by King.
Rowe has a takedown stuffed.
Don King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Rowe.
King displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rowe.
King misses with a double jab.
King leaves Rowe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
King scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rowe doesn't seem bothered though.
King lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Chad Rowe has been cut.

Rowe looks winded!
Rowe gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
King scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Rowe on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rowe shoots in for a takedown but King shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rowe looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
King cracks Rowe with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. King has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Rowe to stand back up!
Rowe is rocked!
Rowe tries to clinch but King moves away
and King counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Rowe badly! King follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Rowe out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as King finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Don King!
