Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mano Soares!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Choel Six!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Six closes the distance and clinches up with Soares, looking for a takedown. Six pushes Soares against the cage but Soares circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Six takes one on the button.
Six shoots for a takedown but Soares saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Six is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Six steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Soares.
Soares misses with a looping left.
Six throws a sloppy head kick and Soares moves out of range easily.
Soares throws an overhand right that lands on Six's shoulder, as Six tries to avoid the shot.
Six is looking to clinch.
Six shoots in looking for a takedown but Soares manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Six's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mano Soares has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Choel Six.

and Soares counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

It looks like Choel Six has been cut.
Six should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Mano Soares decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
