The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westside misses with a kick to the body.
Westside tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hansen was well out of range. Poor timing from Westside.
Hansen slips under a jab.
Westside thows a body shot but no joy.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hansen.
Westside throws a big shot that misses.
Hansen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Westside takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Westside lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hansen at a distance.
Hansen takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Westside lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Hansen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Westside's guard now.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That was a close round but I would say that Mac Hansen will probably get the nod.

Hansen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Westside pinned against the cage. Westside gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mac Hansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Westside wants to stand but Hansen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Westside throws out a loose jab but Hansen uses good head movement to avoid it.

No joy there for Hansen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Hansen is looking to wear down Westside with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Westside slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Westside is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hansen is staying active.
An elbow from Hansen crashes against the mat.
The ground and pound from Hansen seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Hansen tries for a kimura but Westside is defending well.
Hansen misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Teddy Westside.
