Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Chavez's choice of entrance music: can't be touched. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Jesus Chavez enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Chavez.
Cobra fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cobra tries for a takedown but Chavez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Cobra shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Chavez is looking to improve his position but Cobra isn't that keen on the idea.

Cobra has control of Chavez's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Chavez regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Cobra will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cobra has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Chavez wants to control but Cobra is having none of it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cobra turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cobra manages to end up in side control.

Rocky Cobra is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chavez closes the distance but Cobra moves to the side
and Cobra counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Chavez is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Cobra is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Cobra really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cobra working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chavez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chavez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rocky Cobra.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cobra, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
