The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sloppy strikes from Rasputin. Those never looked like landing.
Mann feints and then cracks Rasputin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rasputin down.

Mann throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Mann displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rasputin throws out the jab.
A solid leg kick lands there for Mann.
Rasputin throws a looping overhand right but Mann ducks down to avoid it.
Mann looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rasputin is fending him off so far but Mann persists. Nope, Rasputin circles away and we're back to standing.
Rasputin misses with a hook. Mann ducked under it nicely.
Rasputin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rasputin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mann. Mann obviously looking to wear him down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mann uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rasputin.

Rasputin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mann shoots in for a takedown but Rasputin shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Rasputin takes a swing at Mann's ribcage but misses.
Rasputin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mann scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mann, right into the meat.

Mann dives in and scores a takedown into Rasputin's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mann lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rasputin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mann. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mann is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mann is standing up over Rasputin. Rasputin looks to escape but Mann dives into side control.

Mann is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rasputin knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Mann connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Rasputin some visible discomfort.

Mann has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rasputin is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mann yanks on the arm and Rasputin is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mann.
