Hartmann has chosen LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stefan Roosmalen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Erwin Hartmann!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hartmann shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hartmann showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Roosmalen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Roosmalen is refusing to be controlled, as Hartmann sits in half guard.
Roosmalen is looking for a sweep. Hartmann is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hartmann wants to free his trapped foot but Roosmalen is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Hartmann seems to be working for a kimura but Roosmalen defends the submission attempt.
Roosmalen wants to control but Hartmann is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Hartmann must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hartmann postures up in Roosmalen's guard and throws a big left but Roosmalen blocks it.

Hartmann wants to control from the top but Roosmalen keeps moving.

Roosmalen utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Hartmann trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Roosmalen is trying to control the position but Hartmann postures up.
Hartmann throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Roosmalen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Roosmalen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hartmann!
Roosmalen trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hartmann tries to lock up and control but Roosmalen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Roosmalen breaks from Hartmann's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Hartmann is trying to escape the mount.

Roosmalen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hartmann to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hartmann shrugs it off.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roosmalen avoids the attempt from Hartmann to control.

Roosmalen is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Hartmann is forced to tap! Great finish!
