Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Storms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Storms has chosen Stratovarius - Stratofortress as his entrance music. Robin Convents could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jake Storms's chin.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Storms! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Storms is trying hard to land a takedown here. Convents sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Storms decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Convents tries to roll over but Storms keeps him under control. Storms drops an elbow to the side of Convents's head. Storms working Convents over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Convents wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Convents is refusing to be controlled, as Storms sits in half guard. Storms thows a huge punch but Convents dodges it nicely.
Storms is trying to control. Convents wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Storms connects with a nice short shot to Convents's temple. This has been an exciting period of action! Storms is working for a kimura but Convents is defending it quite comfortably.
Convents avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Storms. Storms is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Storms is looking for a kimura but Convents is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Storms to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Storms throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Storms works his way into full mount! Convents slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Convents looking for submissions off his back. Convents is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Convents manages to get to full guard.

Storms trying to control but Convents is working from the bottom. Storms working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Convents looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Storms gets to his feet. Convents looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Convents fails with a takedown attempt. Convents gets caught flat footed, as Storms shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Storms throwing strikes from guard but Convents blocks nicely. Storms chips away with some ground and pound. Storms landing with the ground and pound. Storms trying to control but Convents is working from the bottom. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Storms's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Storms working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Convents's head. Storms must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Convents working for a triangle but Storms defends it easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Convents is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Storms defends well. Convents is breathing heavily. Storms cracks Convents with a solid left hand. Storms sitting in guard here, content to control. Storms is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Storms trying to control the position from guard on top but Convents is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Convents wriggles free and stands up. Storms looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Convents! Convents on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Storms scores with a couple of short elbows. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Storms is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Convents is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Storms landing a few strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Storms dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Convents stuffs the takedown attempt from Storms. Storms gets slowly back to his feet. Convents lands a nice leg kick that just misses Storms's sensitive parts. Convents moves in looking to clinch but Storms pushes him off. Storms changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Convents tries to avoid it but Storms manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Convents to the ground. Convents escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Convents tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Convents works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Storms has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Storms shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Jake Storms has got the better of the ground game so far. Convents is trying to control but Storms passes into side control!

He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Storms taking a breather here. Convents is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jake Storms showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Convents is looking to clinch. Convents throws a combination that misses and Storms counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Storms missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Storms got a little sloppy there for a moment and Convents has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Storms has managed to get both his arms back between Convents's legs - danger averted. Convents keeping moving, preventing Storms from controlling successfully. Convents escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storms gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Storms is in close to Convents's body, working some short punches and elbows. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Storms looking to pass the guard. Storms wants to stand and escape but instead Convents has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Storms scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Convents tries to close the distance and clinch up but Storms swats him away and circles back towards the center. Convents tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Convents tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Storms was well out of range. Poor timing from Convents. Robin Convents seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Convents misses with a head kick.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Convents instigates a clinch. Convents wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Convents is trying to break free. Storms is trying to trip Convents. He has hold of a leg but Convents is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Storms persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Storms won't allow Convents to sweep him here. Storms working some strikes from top position.

Storms wants to control from the top but Convents keeps moving. Storms thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Storms postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Storms drops back for a leg! Storms shoots in but no luck this time. Convents tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Convents wants to clinch up but Storms keeps it at a distance. Storms avoids the head kick by Convents.
Storms looks for a takedown but Convents sprawls well. Storms closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Storms lands in his opponent's guard. Storms slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Convents struggling a bit here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Storms tries to advance to mount but can't. Convents is looking for a sweep. Storms tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Storms tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Storms connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Convents some visible discomfort.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Convents misses with a strike from the bottom. Convents tries to strike but it doesn't land. Robin Convents has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jake Storms is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Storms landing a few strikes.
