PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Siaki Krause (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Here Comes the Boom-Nelly kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Siaki Krause has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Krause moves out of range of the body kick.
Ross is looking to score with low kicks.

Krause uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ross.
Ross takes a swing at Krause's ribcage but misses.
Ross throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Krause's waist but Krause gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ross off to one side.
Krause looks to score with a jab to the body but Ross is just out of range.

Krause closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ross's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ross wants to stand but Krause is controlling the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Siaki Krause will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Hector Ross.

Hector Ross decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
