The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brickhouse throws a sloppy body shot
and Kangaroo counters with a shoot takedown. Brickhouse fights it but they end up in guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Brickhouse is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Brickhouse knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kangaroo on the ground.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kangaroo lands a nice short elbow.

We're going to have a standup here because Arthur Brickhouse wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Brickhouse stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kangaroo.
Kangaroo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kangaroo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brickhouse tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kangaroo is in Brickhouse's guard.
Brickhouse might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kangaroo loads up on a big left hand. Brickhouse felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kangaroo looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Brickhouse can't hide his disappointment, as Kangaroo celebrates the victory.
