Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricio Rua!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua closes the distance looking to clinch
and Murphy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Murphy fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Murphy just misses with a punch to the body.
Rua wants to clinch but Murphy slips to the side
and Murphy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rua darts in trying to clinch
and Murphy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rua tries to close the distance and clinch but Murphy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Rua takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Murphy throws a jab when Rua was well out of range.
Murphy just misses with a punch to the body.

Rua closes the distance looking to clinch
and Murphy counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Rua! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
