Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Redmunsta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Flemming!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flemming takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.


It looks like James Redmunsta has been cut.
Flemming moves away from the strike by Redmunsta.

Redmunsta gets a double leg takedown into Flemming's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Redmunsta looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

We're going to have a standup here because James Redmunsta wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Redmunsta dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Flemming. That did some damage!
Flemming throws a nice looking combination but Redmunsta bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Redmunsta closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Flemming really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Redmunsta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Redmunsta jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Flemming manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Redmunsta decides to stand up, so the ref orders Flemming to his feet.

Redmunsta uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Flemming.
Redmunsta definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Redmunsta working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Redmunsta is taking a breather. Flemming says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Redmunsta has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Flemming gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Redmunsta to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Flemming can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Redmunsta controls the pace.
