Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Iscool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerard Musashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dakota Iscool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gerard Musashi! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iscool tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Musashi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Iscool drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Iscool thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Musashi sneaks back into half guard. Iscool takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Musashi pushes Iscool off looking to stand but Iscool dives back in and keeps control.
Iscool is figuring out what he wants to do next. Musashi works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Musashi is looking to stand back up but Iscool counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Musashi. Musashi is looking to escape. Iscool missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Iscool prevents Musashi from improving his position. Musashi is looking to escape. Iscool decides to return to a standing position. Iscool fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Musashi sprawls well initially but Iscool persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Iscool throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Musashi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Iscool.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iscool stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Iscool tries to score a power double leg takedown but Musashi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Iscool somewhat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Musashi gets caught napping as Iscool dives in and scores a takedown. Musashi manages to retain guard. Musashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Iscool. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Musashi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Iscool's guard. Iscool throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Iscool is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iscool keeping moving, preventing Musashi from controlling successfully. Iscool has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Musashi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Musashi wants to control from the top but Iscool keeps moving. Iscool has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Musashi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Iscool swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Iscool is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Iscool is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Musashi presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Musashi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Iscool fights it off and pushes away nicely.
No luck for Iscool with that takedown attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Iscool misses with a takedown attempt and Musashi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Iscool looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Iscool misses with a takedown attempt and Musashi counters with a two punch combo. Good standup being displayed there by Iscool as he connects with a hook. Iscool gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Musashi counters with a three punch combo that has Iscool backing up. Iscool nods at Musashi to acknowledge the strikes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dakota Iscool. That's going to take a lot out of him. Iscool fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Iscool tries to clinch but Musashi is having none of it. Musashi moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iscool has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Musashi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Musashi manages to break the clinch.
Musashi blocks a head kick by Iscool.
Iscool looks to throw a body kick and Musashi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Musashi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Iscool avoids it really well and circles away. Iscool tries a head kick but it misses.
Musashi checks a low kick from Iscool. Iscool closes the distance and clinches up with Musashi, looking for a takedown. Iscool pushes Musashi against the cage but Musashi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dakota Iscool is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iscool misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Iscool avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Iscool looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Iscool keeps the fight on the outside. Iscool scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iscool tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Musashi is trying to control Iscool's posture but Iscool avoids it. Musashi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Iscool has just dragged him back down to the mat. Iscool stands up. Dakota Iscool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Iscool looking to score a takedown here. Musashi is defending well but Iscool drives through and ends up in Musashi's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Musashi tries to land a sweep but no joy. Iscool stands and steps away. Musashi gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Horrible takedown by Iscool or perhaps it was just good defense by Musashi which made him look bad. Iscool throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Musashi's waist but Musashi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Iscool off to one side. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Iscool shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Musashi defends it nicely. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Iscool tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Musashi swivels and escapes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dakota Iscool will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Musashi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Iscool circles away. Iscool shoots in for a takedown but Musashi shows good takedown defense. Iscool tries to clinch up but Musashi circles away and keeps his distance. Musashi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Iscool sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Musashi somewhat. Iscool feints and as Musashi raises his hands in defense, Iscool changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Musashi pulls Iscool in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Musashi keeping moving, preventing Iscool from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Musashi being controlled here, momentarily. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dakota Iscool has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Iscool tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Iscool shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iscool wants to stand but Musashi has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Iscool looking to pass the guard. Musashi wants to sweep here but Iscool controlling him for the moment. Musashi trying to keep a closed guard but Iscool is proving a slippery customer.
Iscool stays in close to Musashi's body and controls the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Musashi tries to keep at a distance but Iscool has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iscool looking to stall.
Iscool looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Iscool wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Musashi is struggling to control the position. Musashi lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Musashi has picked Iscool up - he's going for a ride! Musashi dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Iscool on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Iscool tries to get out of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Musashi prevents Iscool from improving his position. Musashi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Iscool does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Iscool trying to control here.
Musashi wants to take a breather but Iscool is having none of it. Iscool is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at WarZone Training Facility 2, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Iscool looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gerard Musashi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Iscool manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Musashi keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Musashi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Iscool is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Musashi to the mat. Musashi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Dakota Iscool is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Iscool trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Dakota Iscool showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Iscool, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
