PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between The Repo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmad Massoud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Repo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mr Vegas Heads High. Massoud has chosen Kulobi as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Massoud's coach down at WarZone Training Facility 2 was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Massoud's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The Repo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Repo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Massoud is fending him off so far but Repo persists. Nope, Massoud circles away and we're back to standing.
Massoud feints a jab promting Repo to slip. Massoud then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Repo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Repo. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Massoud uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Repo has time to react.
Repo gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Massoud gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Repo is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
